About The Position
Chicago Behavioral Hospital is seeking a compassionate Housekeeper to join their team. The Housekeeper provides completes daily housekeeping routines such as cleaning patient rooms, offices, and public areas while ensuring a safe and risk-preventative environment within The Joint Commission, CMS, State, and OSHA standards and regulations. This is a full-time role.
Requirements
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- May be required to work overtime and flexible hours.
Nice To Haves
- Preferably one (1) year experience in housekeeping field.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks of patient room, office and public areas.
- Vacuum, dust, mope, sweep, and take out the trash.
- Ensure that adequate linens are kept in the facility.
- Clean areas with disinfectants.
- Refill supplies (paper products, soap, etc.).
- Assures that supply closets are kept clean and orderly.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment safely stores when not in use and away from patients access when in use.
