About The Position

The Housekeeper maintains cleanliness standards in resident apartments and community common areas, helping create a home-like environment for residents. The role includes caring for and maintaining equipment and tools used in daily work, complying with applicable federal, state, and local facility-operation standards, and incorporating Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with 8-hour shifts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification; training is available upon hire.
• Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Nice To Haves

• Housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• Perform laundry duties as needed.
• Spot-clean carpets as needed.
• Service vacant apartments and support efficient apartment turnover.
• Regularly review the facility’s physical environment and direct requests for repair or replacement.
• Assist personnel and residents in establishing a home-like atmosphere.
• Care for and maintain equipment and tools used in daily work.
• Comply with federal, state, and local standards for facility operation.
• Incorporate Generation’s Mission, Vision, and Values into daily work and interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
