About The Position

The Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms while delivering exceptional service standards that reflect the JW Marriott brand. This role is at the JW Marriott Reston Station, a luxury hotel and residential destination in the heart of Reston, located steps from the Silver Line Metro and conveniently situated between Dulles International Airport and Reagan National Airport. The property features 248 luxury guest rooms, premier meeting and event spaces, and exceptional hospitality experiences. Requirements

Previous housekeeping, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and housekeeping equipment preferred
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed
Ability to bend, stoop, reach overhead, and work in confined spaces throughout the shift
Positive, solution-oriented mindset and passion for hospitality

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize guest bathrooms, including tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors, counters, walls, and floors
Make beds and replace linens as needed
Dust furniture, fixtures, shelves, and other room surfaces
Vacuum guest rooms and remove trash
Restock guest amenities, towels, linens, and supplies
Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are met
Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to established procedures
Transport and restock housekeeping carts
Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive team environment
Maintain attendance and scheduling requirements
