About The Position

As a Housekeeper Public Space at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you help provide Owners and guests with memorable vacation experiences in a supportive work environment. The role involves cleaning and maintaining public and employee areas, restrooms, showers, locker rooms, and fitness centers; replenishing supplies; and reporting maintenance needs. You also welcome and assist guests, work professionally with colleagues, contribute to team goals, and follow company policies and safety procedures. The hourly rate is $21.55.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
May be required to undergo background and drug screening, subject to company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Clean and stock supplies in public and employee restrooms and showers, including toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues.
Clean glass in public and employee areas.
Clean floor surfaces in public or employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Dust surfaces in assigned areas.
Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers.
Clean floors, distribute pool towels, and rearrange chairs when asked.
Replenish towels and disinfecting wipes in locker rooms and fitness centers.
Remove dirty towels.
Report engineering work orders in public areas.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
