About The Position

At Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), the Housekeeper Public Space helps provide owners and guests with memorable vacation experiences in a supportive work environment. The role maintains cleanliness and supplies in public and employee areas, including restrooms, showers, locker rooms, fitness centers, and other assigned spaces. It also includes welcoming and assisting guests, working professionally with colleagues, contributing to team goals, and following company policies and safety procedures. The position pays $21.55 per hour. Applicants must be available for various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days. The position may require background and drug screening in accordance with company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Requirements

Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days.
Able to reach overhead and below the knees, and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
Able to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
May be required to pass background and drug screening, contingent on company policy and applicable legal requirements.

Responsibilities

Clean and restock supplies in public and employee restrooms and showers, including toilet paper, paper towels, and tissues.
Clean glass in public and employee areas.
Clean floor surfaces in public or employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
Dust surfaces in assigned areas.
Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas into proper containers.
Clean floors, distribute pool towels, and rearrange chairs when asked.
Restock towels and disinfecting wipes in locker rooms and fitness centers, and remove dirty towels.
Report engineering work orders in public areas.
Welcome and greet guests, anticipate their needs, and address them.
Interact professionally and promptly with colleagues and guests.
Contribute to team goals.
Follow company policies and safety procedures.
