About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards while cleaning resort property units and following the company’s mission statement and values. The role includes cleaning guest areas, reporting readiness and maintenance needs, and supporting prompt unit turnover and guest satisfaction. The shift is 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Work conditions may include odors or dust, cleaning chemicals, and laundry chemicals. The employee may also be assigned additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds, with or without accommodation.
• Ability to make decisions.
• Planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Promptness and timeliness with assignments.
• Passion for cleanliness.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to learn and change behavior.
• Ability to work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of excellence.
• Strip units of soiled linens and remove trash.
• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, decks, and other unit areas.
• Report clean units as vacant and ready for inspection.
• Report unit maintenance issues according to company procedure.
• Report damaged, dirty, or stained carpets, drapes, furniture, and linens.
• Report missing inventory and supplies to the Supervisor.
• Perform weekly guest services cleans as directed.
• Help maintain clean and organized storage closets.
• Attend training sessions and apply the training in practice.
• Help ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in resolving guest complaints promptly.
• Maintain urgency to ensure units are turned on time.
• Complete additional tasks as directed by MasterCorp Management.
