About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at CHOP Behavioral Health and Crisis Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Housekeeper performs light cleaning duties to maintain a clean and orderly healthcare establishment. Duties include cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing and changing linens, and vacuuming. Days and hours may vary, and rotating weekends are required. Prior housekeeping experience is preferred. The fixed pay rate is $18.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, detail-oriented customer service.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
• Empty and clean trash containers, and dispose of trash sanitarily.
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe down glass surfaces.
• Make beds and change linens as required.
• Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
• Respond to guest queries and requests.
• Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
• Contribute to team efforts and act professionally with customers, fellow associates, and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
