About The Position

Crothall Healthcare is hiring full-time and part-time Housekeepers at UNC Health Blue Ridge Hospital in Morganton, North Carolina. The role performs light cleaning to keep healthcare facilities clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, replenishing linens, making beds, and vacuuming. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The fixed pay rate is $14.00 per hour. Full-time and part-time schedules are available, with days and hours varying, multiple shifts available, and open availability required.

Responsibilities

Provide quality customer service with one-on-one attention to detail.
Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
Empty and clean trash containers and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
Wipe down glass surfaces.
Make beds and change linens as required.
Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
Respond to guest queries and requests.
Respond to housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses.
Contribute to team efforts and demonstrate professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
Perform other duties as assigned.
