About The Position

The Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning assigned hotel areas according to company standards and within required time frames to maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-presented environment for guests and staff. This is a physical, hands-on role requiring attention to detail and a welcoming presence throughout the property. The Housekeeper also replenishes guest and restroom supplies, handles waste, and keeps housekeeping equipment organized and ready for use. Additional duties include performing house laundry tasks and maintaining clean, organized laundry areas. The role requires following safety and security policies and safely handling cleaning materials, chemicals, and tools. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs and management requests.

Responsibilities

Clean guestrooms, lobby, corridors, elevators, laundry facilities, stairways, and other assigned hotel areas to company standards and within required time frames.
Replenish supplies such as bathroom necessities, drinking glasses, linen, and terry in guest rooms, restrooms, and other areas.
Transport trash and waste to the disposal area efficiently and hygienically.
Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and equipment.
Greet guests warmly and provide a friendly presence throughout the property.
Follow safety and security policies to protect personal safety, guests and their belongings, and company property.
Use materials, chemicals, and tools safely to prevent injury, waste, damage, or accidents.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store company linen and terry.
Clean and organize House and Commercial Laundry areas.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as requested by management based on business needs.
