About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, follows established procedures and safety guidelines, and maintains records of cleaning activities. The role also includes reporting maintenance or safety issues, following infection control and universal precautions policies, and interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests. Other duties may be assigned.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, residence within the service area, compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks and physical activities. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Starting pay is USD $13.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Be able to work around cleaning products.
• Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Reside within the service area.

• Previous housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices as part of daily housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
