About The Position

Fellowship Square is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to help create a clean, safe, and comfortable environment at its senior living facility. The role supports residents’ quality of life by maintaining facility spaces, assisting with laundry, following health and safety protocols, and providing respectful, compassionate service to residents and staff.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience is preferred; experience in a senior living facility, healthcare setting, or similar environment is also preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact compassionately with residents.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing at least 25 pounds.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive, professional attitude.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms.
• Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of dining areas, hallways, offices, and other facility spaces.
• Manage cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety and health protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
• Provide service to residents and staff while respecting residents’ privacy and comfort.
• Assist with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens and personal items.
• Report concerns about facility cleanliness and resident needs to appropriate team members.
