Seasonal Housekeeper (April to October 2027)
About The Position
Dune Deck Beach Club is hiring seasonal full-time Housekeepers for its Residential Services Department for the April 1–October 31, 2027 season. The role is based at the club in Westhampton Beach, New York, and the employer of record is DLV Hamptons Management LLC. H-2B visa sponsorship is available. The Housekeeper maintains a clean, orderly, and inviting environment throughout the residential community, including the clubhouse, public areas, amenity facilities, and private residential homes. Working closely with Residential Services and Club Operations management, the Housekeeper helps deliver exceptional service and uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation for members, guests, and employees.
Requirements
- Three months of guest-service experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, or private club.
- Ability to speak and understand English.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts longer than eight hours.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for more than four hours.
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, and pull; may be required to lift and carry items weighing over 50 pounds.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and remain calm and focused during busy periods.
- Ability to work long hours when required by business demands.
Responsibilities
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain the hotel in a clean and orderly manner.
- Clean, maintain, and turn over hotel rooms and common areas.
- Collect dirty linens, towels, and rags and take them to the laundry station for washing and drying.
- Fold and clean towels and robes and return them to the locker room.
- Clean and hose down patios before member activities.
- Hose down pool decking as needed and brush the deck when necessary.
- Empty and reline waste containers and check soap dispensers and paper products in restrooms and locker rooms before member activities.
- Clean window and door glass; clean and shine brass, doors, banisters, and railings.
- Clean mirrors in the fitness area and restrooms, clean offices, and clean the employee cafeteria, removing dirty dishes.
- Keep the lobby, conference rooms, and dining rooms clean and organized.
- Restock employee kitchens and cafeterias with cups, napkins, plates, and utensils.
- Pick up clean linen and rags from the laundry station and deliver them to kitchens and dining rooms.
- Perform detail cleaning at intervals not exceeding two weeks, including ceilings, vents, light fixtures, walls, room corners, skylights, door sills and tops, and tops of decorative and operational furniture.
