About The Position

Provide a superior level of cleaning quality in a hospital environment and help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where patients can heal. The role is based at DLP Rutherford Regional Health System. Full-time and part-time positions are available, including night shifts from 10:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Applicants must pass a background check and drug screen and provide proof of employment eligibility in the United States. Many healthcare facilities require employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment.
Practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and wear a uniform.
Pass a background check and drug screen and provide proof of employment eligibility in the United States.
Stand, walk, squat, bend, twist, kneel, and reach continuously throughout a shift.
Push and pull carts or equipment weighing over 100 pounds on tile and carpeted floors continuously throughout a shift.
Handle chemicals including bleach, wax, and disinfectants.
Operate equipment necessary to perform the essential functions of the job.

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping experience, including cleaning, environmental services, custodial or janitorial work, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

Clean assigned hospital areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms.
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas.
Follow HHS cleaning procedures and best practices.
Provide friendly and kind service to everyone in the hospital.
Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently.
