About The Position

A family of three in Portola Valley is seeking a full-time housekeeper to manage cleaning and organization across their two homes. This role involves daily cleaning, care for high-end surfaces, laundry and wardrobe management, pet care (including vet and grooming appointments), child-friendly support, and shopping for specialty household items. The ideal candidate will be discreet, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable with dogs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in private homes.
• Longevity in previous roles.
• Experience in similar size/type of residence.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products.
• Legal work authorization (I-9).
• Reliable transportation.
• Consent to comprehensive background check.
• Consent to sign an NDA.
• Provide professional references.

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of all areas of both homes, including deep cleaning as needed.
• Care of high-end surfaces such as marble, wood, and specialty materials.
• Organization of all household areas.
• Washing, ironing, and steaming of laundry.
• Care for delicate and designer garments.
• Closet organization and seasonal rotation.
• Pet care, including trips to the veterinarian and groomer for two dogs.
• Provide child-friendly support (not nannying).
• Shopping for specialty items and household kitchen items.
