About The Position

The Housekeeper helps create a welcoming hotel experience by cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, equipment, and public areas. The role includes making beds, changing linens, replenishing supplies, cleaning carpets and furniture, and performing deep-cleaning tasks such as replacing AC filters and painting. Housekeepers also respond to guest requests, deliver items, provide friendly service, and help maintain a safe environment for guests and coworkers. The property is a 266-room, full-service Courtyard in Los Angeles, with food and beverage operations that include banquets, breakfast and dinner service, and a full bar. The hotel emphasizes personality and passion over experience and offers training and opportunities to grow in hospitality.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms and equipment.
Clean lobbies, hallways, restrooms, carpets, and furniture.
Keep the housekeeping cart stocked and ready for use.
Make beds, replace linens, and restock guest-room supplies.
Perform deep-cleaning and maintenance tasks, including replacing AC filters and painting.
Respond to guest requests and deliver items with friendly service.
Help keep guests and hotel property safe by monitoring sensitive areas and practicing safe work habits.
