About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a part-time Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; following established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices; and providing positive customer service to residents, staff, and guests. The posted starting pay rate is $16.90 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Be able to work around cleaning products.
- Be able to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine, repetitive daily tasks.
- Reside within the service area.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
