About The Position

The Bartender greets guests, learns their preferences, answers questions, recommends menu items, and prepares and serves beverages and food. The role includes upselling items, creating recipes, using proper equipment, and performing basic cleaning duties. The bartender helps provide an excellent guest experience while keeping the bar organized, stocked, and clean.

Requirements

Comply with state food and beverage regulations, including alcohol training and a current certificate.
Proven work experience as a bartender.
Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
Computer literacy.
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Fluency in a second language.

Responsibilities

Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and serve tables as needed.
Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
Plan and present the bar menu.
Check customers' identification and confirm that they meet the legal drinking age.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
Remain guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
Keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
Upsell items, create recipes, use proper equipment, and perform basic cleaning duties.
