About The Position

Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s commitment to positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences.

The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices; follows established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices; keeps records of cleaning activities; and reports maintenance or safety issues to a supervisor. The role also involves interacting positively with residents, staff, and guests and completing other assigned duties.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be able to meet the listed physical requirements, work around cleaning products, follow instructions, communicate effectively, comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies, and reside within the service area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
• Work around cleaning products.
• Follow oral and written instructions.
• Reside within the service area.

Nice To Haves

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Clean and sanitize areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
