Housekeeper
About The Position
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role contributes to the communities HCSG serves by supporting a clean, welcoming setting and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The Housekeeper performs daily cleaning and sanitation tasks in resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices, following established procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control policies. The position requires positive interactions with residents, staff, and guests, as well as the ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks and follow oral and written instructions. The starting pay rate is USD $15.00 per hour. Residency within the service area is required.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Able to work around cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Residency within the service area is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection-control and universal-precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
