Housekeeper (Full Time)
About The Position
Crothall Healthcare is hiring a full-time Housekeeper at LCMC Touro Infirmary in New Orleans, Louisiana. The role performs light cleaning to keep the establishment clean and orderly, including cleaning rooms and halls, making beds, replenishing linens, and vacuuming. No prior experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The schedule is full time, with days that may vary. The position works first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and requires rotating weekends and holidays. Crothall Healthcare provides specialized support services to the healthcare industry and emphasizes care, safety, detail, professionalism, and teamwork.
Requirements
- No prior experience is required.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality customer service through attentive, one-on-one attention to detail.
- Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
- Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
- Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstery.
- Dust and polish furniture and fittings.
- Clean metal fixtures and fittings.
- Empty and clean trash containers, and dispose of trash in a sanitary manner.
- Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
- Wipe down glass surfaces.
- Make beds and change linens as required.
- Realign furniture and amenities according to the prescribed layout.
- Respond to guest queries and requests.
- Respond to housekeeping issues, such as spills and broken glasses.
- Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates, and others.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
