About The Position
Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean and safe environment in a long-term care facility. The role supports HCSG’s goal of positively impacting the communities it serves and enhancing customer and resident experiences. The starting pay rate is USD $15.00 per hour. Employees receive hands-on training and support and career development opportunities. Additional benefits may vary by location and eligibility.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously and daily.
- Be able to work around cleaning products.
- Be able to follow oral and written instructions.
- Reside within the service area.
Nice To Haves
- Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping tasks, including cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
- Clean and sanitize all areas according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain records of cleaning activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
- Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
- Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
