Housekeeper – Margaritaville Beach Resort Fort Myers Beach, Florida Weekends Required! Fins up! Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking applications from seasoned professionals for the exciting role of Housekeeper. Nestled in the heart of Southwest Florida’s vibrant landscape, Margaritaville Fort Myers Beach, under the proud operation and ownership of TPI Hospitality, offers not just a job but an opportunity for unparalleled personal and professional growth. We are looking for a housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate for this position is a detail-oriented, fast worker who takes pride in providing a sparkling clean room for our guests.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be permitted to work in the USA with supporting documentation.
  • Ability to communicate with guests, providing friendly guest services with a smile.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (maximum of 50 lbs.).

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience is a plus but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Load and organize the housekeeping cart with all necessary supplies and amenities.
  • Keep the cart clean, tidy, and well-stocked throughout the shift to ensure efficiency and readiness.
  • Clean and service assigned rooms to established standards promptly. Tasks include changing linens, preparing beds, cleaning and organizing bathrooms, picking up trash, vacuuming floors, and refreshing guest amenities.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond to their requests promptly and courteously to ensure a positive guest experience.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests, co-workers, and supervisors to address any concerns or special requests.
  • Report any damage or mechanical issues in the resort and guest rooms to maintenance or management for prompt resolution.
  • Follow proper safety practices, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
  • Follow proper lost and found procedures to document and return any lost items to guests in accordance with company policies.
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by management to support the overall operation and cleanliness of the resort.
