About The Position

San Poil Treatment Center is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. The Housekeeper plays an important role in supporting the health and well-being of individuals receiving services by ensuring facility cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.

Requirements

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain professional working relationships with clients, visitors, and staff.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, offices, restrooms, common areas, and treatment spaces.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish floors and surfaces.
Clean and disinfect high-touch areas according to established infection control procedures.
Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
Replenish paper products, soap, hand sanitizer, and other housekeeping supplies.
Launder facility linens, towels, and other washable items as assigned.
Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
Follow established cleaning schedules and sanitation protocols.
Assist with facility set-up and clean-up for meetings, events, and activities.
Operate housekeeping equipment safely and properly.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working in client areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
