About The Position

The Housekeeper attends to Union Community Care facilities with integrity and attention to detail, creating a clean and orderly environment for patients and visitors. The appearance of the facilities is considered critical to maintaining and strengthening the organization’s reputation in the community. The position is part-time and scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the South 9th St. location in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.

The Housekeeper performs routine cleaning, maintains rooms and areas according to management’s standards, reports noticed damage, responds professionally and patiently to reasonable complaints or requests, and follows health and safety rules and Union Community Care practices. The position also requires participation in mandatory all-staff meetings, team meetings, and trainings. Duties 1–7 are identified as essential functions.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
• Clean restrooms and breakrooms using the appropriate tools and cleaning supplies provided by the organization.
• Ensure rooms and areas are cared for and maintained according to standards set by management.
• Notify the Facility Manager of any damage noticed on equipment or structures.
• Handle reasonable complaints or requests with professionalism and patience.
• Follow health and safety rules and be aware of Union Community Care practices.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
• Participate in mandatory all-staff meetings, team meetings, and trainings.
