About The Position
Broughton Hospital is taking applications for a Housekeeping Team Leader (1st Shift) position. This position is a combination of hands-on hospital housekeeping, team leadership, and acting-supervisor responsibilities.
Requirements
- Education and/or experience in housekeeping work that is directly related to the job.
Nice To Haves
- Documented experience working as a housekeeper in a hospital, commercial or industrial environment
- Experience working in a psychiatric setting
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, offices, bathrooms, lobbies, and common areas.
- Sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, buffing floors, and shampooing carpets.
- Cleaning ceilings, walls, vents, and light fixtures.
- Sanitizing hard surfaces and properly using hospital-approved cleaning chemicals.
- Leading a small team of housekeepers in an assigned area.
- Serving as Acting Supervisor when the Housekeeping Supervisor is absent.
