About The Position

The Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all guest rooms and bathrooms are cleaned to the company's standards in both quality and quantity. This role involves providing maid service, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring guest satisfaction. The position also requires assisting other departments when needed and adhering to all company policies and safety procedures.

Requirements

Must be able to carry 25 lbs.
Commitment to superior customer service and excellent customer service skills.
Strong initiative and self-motivation.
Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal.
An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace.
Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast paced environment.
Minimum one year experience within housekeeping department.
Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary.

Responsibilities

Provide maid service for guest rooms and meet cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Replace any unused amenities and report any maintenance concerns.
Assist Lobby Attendant in delivering guest requests.
Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, replenishing amenities and linens, and filling ice buckets.
Clean bathrooms, including bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces.
Assist PM attendants by stripping and making beds, changing bed linens, and dusting furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves.
Empty trash.
Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart.
Visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify cleaning completion.
Assist Lobby Attendant in public areas as needed.
Attend all mandatory meetings.
Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Safety/Security Department.
Provide general public assistance, instruction, and/or guidance for guests and employee safety in the event of an emergency.
Complete all other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.
Keep work area neat and organized.
