About The Position
This role is responsible for cleaning public and employee showers and restrooms, cleaning glass in public and employee areas, and cleaning floor surfaces in public and employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment. The position also involves dusting surfaces in assigned areas, emptying trash receptacles, ash trays, and ash urns into appropriate containers, and inspecting furniture for tears, rips, or stains, reporting any damage. Additionally, the role includes cleaning and maintaining light fixtures, placing caution signs to reduce traffic when necessary, and contacting other departments directly for urgent repairs. Promptly responding to requests from guests and other departments, and identifying and reporting potential problems or maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- No high school diploma or equivalent General Education Development (GED) required.
- No related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.

- Move at a required pace to respond to work situations (e.g., run, walk, jog).
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects).
- Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and shape, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
- Reach for, push, pull, and lift objects over head and below knees, including bending, twisting, stooping, and crouching.
- Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
- Move on sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairways.
- Climb and descend ladders.
- Climb and descend stairways and/or service ramps.
- Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 55 pounds (24.75 Kg) or less without assistance and more than 55 pounds (24.75 Kg) with assistance.
- Push and drag a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery across sloped and uneven surfaces.
- Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods or frequent duration throughout the entire work shift.
- Perform other reasonably requested job duties by supervisors.
