About The Position

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining all guest-facing areas of the hotel to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. This role is essential in creating a lasting first impression and supporting the hotel’s commitment to luxury service excellence.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment.
Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.
Good communication skills; basic English preferred (additional languages preferred).
Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in housekeeping or public area maintenance in a luxury or five-star hotel preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and appearance of all public areas including lobbies, corridors, elevators, restrooms, lounges, and service corridors.
Dust, polish, vacuum, sweep, mop, and sanitize floors, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces according to hotel standards.
Replenish public area amenities, supplies, and decorative elements as needed.
Monitor public spaces for maintenance issues, hazards, or safety concerns and report promptly.
Respond courteously and professionally to guest inquiries and requests encountered during duties.
Follow all safety, hygiene, and standard operating procedures consistently.
Support other departments during events, VIP arrivals, and peak operating periods as required.
Ensure housekeeping equipment, carts, and storage areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
