About The Position

Provides high levels of cleanliness, quality, and service to patients, families and customers. This is a contingent position, not benefits eligible, with openings on first and second shifts. The role includes two scheduled weekend days per month, with additional hours available. Essential functions include cleaning patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms, and other assigned areas, adhering to the 10 Step Cleaning Process and proper chemical use. The position requires maintaining Infection Control standards, proper use of PPE, and keeping housekeeping equipment in good working order. Performance is measured by quality control inspections and customer feedback.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent, required.
Ability to speak and understand English.
Demonstrate high degree of proficiency in the 10 Step Cleaning Process.
Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Demonstrates ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Displays positive customer service skills and promotes a team atmosphere.

Nice To Haves

Previous housekeeping experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Cleans and services patient care areas, offices, lobbies, bathrooms or other areas as assigned.
Demonstrates knowledge of 10 Step Cleaning Process and appropriate chemical use to meet department standards.
Performs routine cleaning and coordinates with management to address and resolve facility maintenance, service issues and other concerns.
Practices proper methods of Infection Control in conjunction with cleaning procedures.
Maintains proper use and knowledge of PPE and door precautions.
Maintains closet, housekeeping cart and cleaning equipment in clean, orderly and good working condition.
Maintains department’s standards of practice as evidenced by quality control inspections and customer feedback.
