About The Position
The Food Service Assistant / Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderly appearance of the residence and the operation of the kitchen and food services. Requirements
- High school diploma and related kitchen and housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to cook and prepare breakfast foods, sandwiches, and salads in volume
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Must be 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Cooking and preparing foods as required by scheduled menu.
- Responsible for compliance with sanitation and Food Service policies and procedures
- Interacts with clients in a kind, concerned and helpful manner
- Communicates any observations to supervisory staff that may affect the well-being of clients
- Reports safety and maintenance concerns to the Residential Manager
- Tracking and reporting inventory
- Attends and participates in staff meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned
