About The Position

This position with Presbyterian Healthcare Services performs a variety of routine environmental services duties, helping maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment. Responsibilities include upholding established cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility. The Housekeeper/Environmental Services Tech position at Plains Regional Medical Services in Clovis, New Mexico, offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day. Through routine environmental services tasks and consistent attention to established cleanliness standards, you contribute to a facility where people feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in the space around them.

Requirements

  • Less than high school.
  • Less than one year experience in housekeeping

Responsibilities

  • Maintains all areas according to departmental standards.
  • Ensures proper infection control procedures when processing linen, trash, medical waste and performing cleaning tasks.
  • Demonstrates awareness/understanding of PI Program, Excellence in action, Competencies, Mission & Vision of PRMC.
  • Maintains and uses housekeeping equipment properly and safely.
  • Reports pertinent information to supervisor or appropriate authority.
  • Performs departmental record keeping.
  • Performs all duties necessary to ensure appropriate linen and supply levels.
  • Performs floor care.
