About The Position

Pride Health is hiring an Environmental Services Aide (Housekeeper) for one of its healthcare clients in Geneva, NY. This is a 13 Week contract with the possibility of expansion with competitive pay and benefits. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Aide to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary healthcare environment within a surgical services setting. The ideal candidate will support infection prevention efforts, ensure the cleanliness of patient and staff areas, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain electrical, battery-powered, and mechanical equipment in safe working condition (burnisher, auto scrubber, rotary scrubber, vacuum cleaner, etc.).
Comply with established policies and procedures regarding Infection Control, Right to Know, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Incorporate safety into all aspects of work, including proper use of wet floor signs, response to emergency pages, proper body mechanics, and safe chemical usage and dispensing.
Maintain assigned areas in clean and sanitary conditions for patients, residents, guests, visitors, and staff.
Clean beds, restrooms, furniture, fixtures, and other assigned areas.
Refill supplies and promptly remove trash and linen.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
