This is a Household Manager/Nanny role in Eighty Four, PA, starting flexibly for the right candidate. The position offers a rotating 2-week schedule averaging 35-40 guaranteed hours per week, with a mix of full days, afternoons, and flexible household-management hours. The hourly rate is $35+. The household includes three children aged 13, 9, and 6, and one dog. The role is part family assistant, part household manager, part nanny, and part logistics coordinator, focusing on helping family life run smoothly. The children are becoming increasingly independent and their schedules include sports, biking, chess, art, imaginative play, school, friends, and homework. While childcare is important, the primary focus is on managing the household and logistics. The role involves school pickups, homework oversight, driving to activities, dinner assistance, packing bags, and managing occasional logistical challenges. During school hours or when children are not present, responsibilities include laundry, freshening bedrooms, making beds, resetting the kitchen, vacuuming, handling returns, scheduling appointments, filling out school forms, and staying ahead of activity registrations. The children's schedule rotates between parents, and the father is actively involved, valuing a nanny who can manage errands, driving, and household tasks to allow him more quality time with the children. The family lives on a large property suitable for outdoor activities. The overall family vibe is grounded, with an emphasis on encouraging children's independence and responsibility. A family vehicle will be provided for transporting children. Cooking simple family meals or assisting with dinner on busy afternoons is a plus.
