Responsibilities

• Driving children to/from after-school activities.
• Actively engaging with children: play, talk, read, and help with homework.
• Preparing children for the following school day (backpacks, homework, lunch boxes).
• Preparing healthy meals and simple family dinners, and cleaning up afterward.
• Assisting with baths/showers when needed.
• Encouraging children to clean up after themselves.
• Occasionally assisting with birthday party gifts, school events, and similar children's activities.
• Spending two hours per day on household management and errands prior to children's arrival.
• Keeping children's bedrooms, bathroom, and playroom tidy and organized.
• Preparing children's laundry for weekly pickup and putting away clean laundry.
• Occasionally assisting with adult laundry and ironing.
• Preparing items for weekly cleaning pickup and returning them.
• Rotating clothing as children outgrow it.
• Keeping the car tidy after transporting children.
• Light household tidying and tasks (organizing toys, books, backpacks, sports equipment, loading/unloading dishwasher, keeping kitchen tidy).
• Bringing in and putting away household deliveries.
• Keeping track of household supplies.
• Online grocery shopping and putting groceries away.
• Bringing trash/recycling to and from the curb once a week.
