About The Position

A family in Tampa, Florida, is seeking a trusted, proactive Household Manager & Family Assistant to support the day-to-day running of a busy household and provide backup care for a 3-year-old. The home includes two large dogs and two cats. Both parents travel regularly for work and work from home when in town, so schedules and household needs may change week to week. The role is part-time for 12–15 hours per week, with 12 hours guaranteed, generally scheduled across three days per week, preferably Tuesday through Thursday, in 4–5 hour shifts. The schedule is flexible for occasional evening childcare and overnights. Compensation is $30–$35 per hour based on experience, and the start date is ASAP. The role combines childcare, household organization and light maintenance, laundry, meal preparation, grocery and supply management, errands, pet care, and vehicle tidying. The family values warmth, reliability, discretion, initiative, flexibility, and a long-term, collaborative approach. House cleaners come every Friday, and the assistant is expected to help keep the home organized and ready for their visits.
