We're a friendly, busy family in Belmont, MA with a young daughter in daycare, two beloved senior dogs, and two careers that keep us on our toes. Our home is large and still finding its rhythm. We moved in a couple of years ago and have been running at full speed ever since, which means some corners of the house are still waiting to be fully settled and organized. Like many busy families, the pace of everyday life can quickly leave behind toys, laundry, paperwork, and unfinished projects. By the end of the day, the house often reflects the activity of a full and busy family. Helping bridge the gap between the energy of daily life and the calm of a well-organized home is exactly where we need support. We're looking for a Household Manager & Family Assistant who can help bring order, consistency, and follow-through to our home. A major component of the role will involve completing the remaining unpacking and organization work from our move, creating sustainable household systems, and maintaining those systems over time. Laundry management, household resets, and general organization will be core responsibilities. In addition, this role will provide support with childcare logistics, including school pickup one to two days per week, occasional backup childcare, and flexibility to assist with overnight childcare and pet care when both parents are traveling. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, maintaining organization, and bringing a sense of calm to a busy family environment.
