About The Position

We are a warm, active, and close-knit family of five living in Jacksonville, Florida, seeking a consistent, professional weekday support person to help our household run better. With three kids and two full schedules, our days move fast, and the home works best when someone is thoughtfully staying ahead of things in the background. This role involves keeping up with laundry, resetting spaces that collect clutter, and ensuring meals are covered. We are looking for someone proactive, warm, and deeply reliable who notices what needs attention, acts, and follows through. The ideal candidate will be adept at meal prep, laundry management, and daily resets to maintain a calm home environment. This person should have a genuine rapport with children, be comfortable being an authority figure when needed, and possess strong organizational and project management skills. Cooking skills are highly desirable, as is the ability to manage household systems and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Reliable personal transportation
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain prior to start

Responsibilities

Full laundry management for the family, including washing, folding, organizing, and special garment care.
Weekly rotation of hand towels and bathroom linens, and linen rotation as needed.
Maintain a tidy and well-stocked laundry area.
Cook dinner 2–3 times per week.
Pack school lunches for kids approximately 3 times per week.
Prep healthy snacks.
Grocery shopping with attention to dietary needs.
Kitchen cleanup and maintenance after cooking.
Create and maintain household organization systems throughout the home.
Perform daily resets and prepare the home in advance of the weekly cleaning service.
Light tidying, including dishes, surfaces, and vacuuming high-traffic areas.
Manage seasonal clothing, decor, and bedding swaps.
Coordinate donation drop-offs.
Assist with event, holiday, and guest preparation.
Pack and unpack for kids as needed.
Undertake organizational projects in areas such as kids' closets, playroom, mudroom, pantry, and shared spaces.
Provide school pickups and drop-offs, and transportation to extracurricular activities.
Offer light supervision and backup childcare during afternoon hours.
Provide homework support as needed.
Handle kid-related errands.
Provide weekly date night coverage.
Restock pantry, fridge, and household supplies, and manage running shopping lists.
Manage household orders and subscriptions.
Handle returns, dry cleaning, gift shopping, mail and package handling, and breaking down boxes.
Coordinate periodic cleaning of family vehicles.
Perform occasional tidying and cleaning of the guest suite above the garage.
Serve as the point of contact for cleaners, contractors, and landscapers while on-site.
Research and coordinate repairs and service quotes using a provided vendor list.
Act as the point of contact for lawn care, pest control, and other outdoor service crews.
Perform light outdoor furniture maintenance.
Maintain awareness of the family calendar and provide proactive reminders for upcoming events.
Track receipts and manage the budget for household expenses.
Assist with event coordination as needed.
