About The Position

We're a warm, active, and close-knit family of five living in Jacksonville, Florida — three school-aged kids and two busy working parents, with a home that's always full of life. We love good food, we host often, and our home is a place where people gather. We have a weekly cleaning service and wonderful family nearby, but what we're missing is consistent, professional weekday support from someone who wants to make our household run better. With three kids and two full schedules, our days move fast, and the home works best when someone is thoughtfully staying ahead of things in the background — keeping up with laundry, resetting the spaces that collect clutter, and making sure meals are covered without it becoming one more thing on our plate. We're looking for someone who walks in the door and gets it — who notices what needs attention, follows through without being asked twice, and brings a steady, capable presence to our home and our kids. The right person for this role is proactive, warm, and deeply reliable. You don't wait to be told what needs to be done — you notice, you act, and you follow through. Three things matter most in this role: staying on top of meal prep so the family always has something good to eat, keeping laundry from piling up, and handling genuine daily resets that keep the home feeling calm instead of cluttered. You're the kind of person who sees a disorganized drawer and quietly fixes it, who checks the fridge before grocery shopping without being reminded, and who shows up every day ready to carry your share of the mental load. You have a genuine rapport with kids — you're warm and fun, but you're also comfortable being the authority in the room when needed. Our kids are sweet but sharp-witted, and they need someone who can hold the line with a smile. You read the room well, knowing when to be present and engaged and when to give the family space. You think like a project manager: you take in the situation, identify what's needed, and execute. Ideally, you love to cook and can fully own a meal from start to finish. You're organized, systems-minded, and confident enough to suggest a better way of doing things when you see one.
