About The Position

Regional West Health Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as a House Supervisor. The role delivers quality nursing care using critical-thinking skills and nursing best-practice standards. The House Supervisor coordinates patient transfers and admissions, supports patients and families, and provides guidance to staff. A conditional job offer is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and background checks. A Physical Capacity Profile may be required for some positions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Hold a compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse license; obtain a Nebraska license within 60 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire.
• Obtain ACLS, TNCC, and NRP within six months of hire.
• Obtain PALS within one year of hire.
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks, as required for a conditional job offer.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with internal units and external facilities to ensure appropriate patient transfers and admissions.
• Act as a liaison between patients, family members, and health professionals to support quality care when needed.
• Bring issues of concern to the senior administrator on call.
• Provide staff with instructions, advice, and guidance when needed.
