About The Position

The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is currently hiring a PRN Night Shift Nursing Supervisor to join our team of dedicated professionals. The Carolina Center for Behavioral Health is a 156-bed private behavioral health system located on 13 acres in the Greenville, South Carolina Area. Specializing in psychiatric programs and substance abuse treatments such as detox and rehab, The Carolina Center serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, and areas throughout South Carolina and western North Carolina. Programs are available at various levels of care to accommodate the severity of every patient’s condition: inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment. SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring coordinated delivery of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care, mental health practice and hospital policy, goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • RN License Required
  • South Carolina registered nurse license with current registration required. Multi-state license with South Carolina included in the compact is also acceptable.
  • A minimum of one to three (1-3) years experience required, prefer experience in a psychiatric health-care facility.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice
  • Monitor that staff are implementing policies and procedures and act as a resource to the staff
  • Assist in developing staffing schedules in accordance with patient acuity and staffing grid
  • Continually evaluate the activities, morale and interpersonal relationships of the program staff and promote methods to improve these areas
  • Assist in providing supervision and direction in accordance with Nursing Department's goals and objectives to all nursing staff and conducts disciplinary actions where indicated.
