About The Position
The House Supervisor is a central orchestrator of care who empowers frontline nursing teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences and support operational excellence. The role engages with patient care needs, guides and supports nursing team development, and advances departmental objectives. The House Supervisor advocates for nurses and fosters an environment where each team member can reach their full potential. Success requires accountability, confident leadership, and strong communication, including effective one-to-one interactions with physicians, consultants, and family advocates and the ability to navigate challenging conversations to support performance and patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
- Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Minnesota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
- Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 12 months of start date.

- Clinical leadership or nursing management experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support clinical practice and patient care delivery.

- Support compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
