About The Position
Suncoast Behavioral Health Center provides quality mental health care and education services for adolescents, ages 11–17 who are experiencing behavioral, emotional, educational, family and social challenges. The dedicated professionals at Suncoast Behavioral Health Center provide quality mental health treatment for children. The program establishes healthy behaviors and prepares children to transition back home. Website: https://suncoastbhc.com/ The facility is looking for a House Nursing Supervisor 7P-7A ($3,000 Sign-On Bonus) who will be responsible for the delivery of quality nursing care for all patients on the Child, Adolescent and Adult Units. As a key team member in the clinical area, the Nursing Supervisor promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services on assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing. Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience.
- Must have thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures, with demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
