About The Position

Northwest Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nurse Aides to work at its skilled nursing facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. CNAs provide direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living, while promoting comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The role serves elderly and medically complex residents and calls for a patient-focused, reliable approach to high-quality care.

The scheduled shift is 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday through Monday. The position is full-time.

Requirements

• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification in the state.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist with resident transfers and repositioning.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, long-term care, or rehabilitation setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to help prevent pressure injuries.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to the licensed nurse.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Support residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a respectful, compassionate environment.
• Keep residents’ rooms and common areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures.
• Assist nursing staff with other duties as assigned.
