About The Position

The House Person is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the facility, including deep cleaning, vacuuming, stocking supplies, and assisting guests. This role requires attention to detail, good customer service skills, and the ability to follow safety regulations. The House Person will also perform preventative maintenance and assist other housekeeping staff as needed.

Requirements

• At least 3 months experience as a Guest Room Attendant.
• Good customer service skills.
• Able to follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Able to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a courteous and professional manner.
• High standard of cleanliness.
• Sensitivity to various cultures, including Native American cultures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Able and willing to work any changes in scheduled hours as required.
• Serve as a credit to Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel, and encourage others to do the same.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deep clean, shampoo carpets and rotate mattresses.
• Vacuum hallways.
• Maintain vending areas.
• Stock linen closets with linens and supplies.
• Remove trash at the end of the day.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a daily basis.
• Assist Guest Room and Laundry Attendants as needed.
• Provide guests with requested information and services (i.e. casino information and directions).
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
