HOUSE RN SUPERVISOR 7A-7P: FRI, SAT, SUN
About The Position
Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is seeking a House Nursing Supervisor for the 7A-7P shift, working Friday, Saturday, and Sundays. This role is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to patients on the Child, Adolescent, and Adult Units. The Nursing Supervisor will act as a key team member, promoting effective performance through role modeling, continuous learning, and availability to patients and staff. This position involves organizing, managing, and coordinating nursing services during the assigned shift as delegated by the Director of Nursing. Suncoast Behavioral Health Center specializes in providing mental health care and education services for adolescents aged 11-17 who are facing behavioral, emotional, educational, family, and social challenges. The program focuses on establishing healthy behaviors and preparing children for a successful transition back home.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Florida (or eligible to receive or renew).
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Five (5) years of clinical experience in psychiatric nursing, including Charge Nurse experience.
- Thorough working knowledge of Hospital, Nursing, and Management of Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to use skills in clinical and managerial situations.
