About The Position

The House Manager will assist with overseeing the operations of Seafield’s Recovery Homes and ensure that each house maintains maximum occupancy. This role involves managing resident applications for housing and food substance, establishing daily schedules, and overseeing resident participation in required house activities. The House Manager will also supervise resident arrivals and departures for treatment, oversee the client government, and maintain daily contact with the Executive Director or designee to report on developments. Responsibilities include managing weekend visitation passes, tracking resident whereabouts, completing supply inventories, conducting urinalysis screenings, and ensuring the house is kept clean and orderly. The role also involves encouraging residents to respect the facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum one-year house management experience.
  • Familiarity with twelve-step program.
  • Familiarity with counseling background.
  • User role(s) information systems access as assigned, where applicable.
  • House Staff & Population Management Knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Seafield’s Chain of Command.
  • Knowledge of House Rules.

  • CRPA, CRPA-P, or CRPA Eligible preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with overseeing the operations of Seafield’s Recovery Homes.
  • Assure that each house maintains maximum occupancy.
  • Initiate process whereby resident makes application for housing and food substance.
  • Establish the daily schedule for residence.
  • Oversee resident’s participation in required house activities.
  • Supervise resident’s timely departure and arrival for treatment at an outpatient facility.
  • Oversee the operation of the client government.
  • Maintain daily contact with Executive Director or designee, to apprise of developments.
  • Ascertains that resident has pass appropriately countersigned by Executive Director or designee for weekend visitation.
  • At all times, will know where each resident is expected to be, i.e. at treatment, free time and follow-up appointment.
  • Complete inventory of supplies.
  • Conduct urinalysis screening upon resident’s return from a weekend pass.
  • Assures that residence is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.
  • Encourage residents to respect the facility.
  • Collect & keep accurate ledger of client rent receipts.
  • Maintain accurate house account.
