About The Position
A busy, down-to-earth couple is moving into a home in Sunny Isles, North Miami and is seeking an experienced House Manager to run the residence. The couple works from home and travels often, so they need someone who can take the day-to-day of the household off their plates with discretion and initiative. The home has no children and no pets. There is room for a live-in arrangement, so live-in or live-out can be discussed. The family has high standards, a European background, and a strong eye for detail, and they value a warm, relaxed, team-minded environment. The schedule is Monday to Friday, approximately 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility. The role will also travel with the family, including extended stays abroad of up to 3 months.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a House Manager, Estate Manager, Butler, or Executive Housekeeper in a private home
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions to a consistent standard
- Strong initiative and the ability to read the room, stay out of the way, and disappear into the background when needed
- Confident leading and working alongside other household staff
- Polished, discreet, and professional, with a warm and easygoing personality
- Comfortable working in a home where the principals are present during the day
- Warm and respectful
- Strong verifiable references from comparable private household roles
- Valid US work authorization
- Valid driver's license
- Flexibility for travel, including international and extended stays
- Willing to complete a background check
- Long-term employment history preferred
- Passport Ready

Responsibilities
- Oversee the full operation of the residence and keep the home running smoothly
- Manage, schedule, and direct the housekeeping team
- Coordinate and communicate with vendors and service providers so housekeeping staff stay focused on their duties
- Create and maintain a household manual with standards, routines, and room by room layouts
- Handle groceries, errands, and household purchasing
- Support laundry and day to day household needs as required
- Anticipate needs and solve problems independently without needing direction
- Travel with the family when needed and help set up the household at other residences
