Provides administrative and clinical oversight on an assigned shift and campus.

• Thorough knowledge of emergency management protocols, risk identification and regulatory requirements.

• Ability to operate medical equipment and administer medications.

• Bachelors Nursing Required
• 4 Healthcare/Medical - Nurse: Staff Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse
• Certified Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation
• Meets the Standards of Behavior as outlined in Personnel Policy and Procedure #1, Employee Relations Code.
• Demonstrates knowledge of procedures for protecting and maintaining security, confidentiality and integrity of employee, patient, family, organizational and other medical information.
• Understands and supports the commitment of Methodist Hospitals in adhering to federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations governing ethical business practices for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for patient throughput to include bed placement as it relates to level of care and appropriate staffing.
• Identifies situations and circumstances that may impact risk and liability factors and refers appropriately by following the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Provides operational and administrative support to include patient care, facilities and emergency management.
• Serves as a resource to staff for clinical and regulatory issues.
