About The Position

The Patient Care Supervisor (PCS) is responsible for coordinating patient care across all services. This role involves supervising all nursing staff, managing daily clinical and administrative tasks, including patient admissions and staffing, and providing 24/7 leadership for the medical center when departmental and administrative leaders are absent. The PCS also fosters professional and collaborative relationships among nursing personnel, medical staff, administrative staff, patients, and their families.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the coordination of patient care across the continuum of services.
• Supervises all nursing staff and daily clinical and administrative functions.
• Coordinates patient admissions.
• Manages staffing.
• Provides 24/7 medical center leadership and supervision in the absence of departmental and administrative leadership.
• Promotes professional and collaborative relationships among the nursing personnel, medical staff, administrative staff, and patients and families.
