About The Position

We are a fun and active family based in San Francisco looking for a part-time House Manager & Family Assistant to help maintain our household systems and support our busy family life. Our home is full of energy, creativity, and connection. We have two children (ages 11 & 9) with active social lives and packed schedules, and a young hound mix. One parent works from home and travels periodically, while the other has a flexible consulting schedule. We value family time and travel, and we need someone who can help keep things running smoothly, make returning from vacations easy, and bring order to our busy, well-loved environment. We are seeking someone who can transform good ideas into lasting solutions, maintain systems consistently, and bring a calm, steady presence. The ideal candidate enjoys creating order out of complexity, understands the importance of details for everyday ease, and has strong instincts to anticipate needs. Proactive, organized, flexible, and unflappable, you can handle the unexpected and leave things better than you found them. Clear communication and a collaborative, partnership-oriented approach are essential. Experience with or understanding of neurodivergent children is a plus. You should approach children with patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental spirit, empowering them to build independence.
